Mid-Atlantic Leather charitable donations total $160,000
As President of the Centaur Motorcycle Club, I am deeply honored and proud to announce that the proceeds from Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend 2026 have enabled us to make charitable donations totaling $160,000.

Leather activists George Whiting, passed away on November 20 at the age of 92.
Whiting founded Vancouver Activists in SM (VASM) in 1982 and was presented Pantheon of Leather Award in 1992 and 1999. VASM was modeled after New York's GMS/MA (Gay Male S/M Activists).
George Edward Saunders Whiting was born on June 10, 1923, in Wool, Dorset, England and served in the Royal Air Force during World War II.
After living in Australia, he moved to Vancouver, Canada for the rest of his life.
A celebration of Whiting’s life will take place in January.
