Up Your Alley

The weather was the best it could be for the Up Your Alley Fair in San Francisco, CA on Sunday, July 28 and there was a hug crowd. It was warm enough to get shirts off, nudists doing their thin and cool enough that people were not hydrating from heat. Seems there were less booths, especially on Market Street, but don't take that as official. The 15 Association had its open dungeon on the north part of Dore Alley which was where most of the booths were. There is a hot batch of men for San Francisco's Bare Chest Calendar which was on sale. Peter Fiske had his whips and books available. The Mama's Family photo shoot was cancelled a few days before the Fair.

ILSb-ICBB - Emcees announced

The ILSb 2019 returning emcees will be Thib Callin-Guicherd and BAMM Bamm. Thib will emcee the three contests while Bamm Bamm will handle the roast and Fireside Chat duties. This will be Thib's fifth year and Bamm Bamm's fourth. The International Leather Sir, International Leatherboy and the International Community Bootblack 2019 contest will be held August 29 - September 1 at the Crown Plaza Market Center in Dallas, TX. The weekend kicks off with the Pantheon of Leather Awards and Dinner on Thursday, August 29.

LA Leather Coalition elects new board

The Los Angeles Leather Coalition elected a new board. Robert Green is the Chair, Jon Wright is Vice Chair, Mistress Cyan is Secretary, Sir Frank is Treasurer, Gabriel Green is the LALP 2020 Steering Committee Chair and Contest Producer. At Large Board Members are Victor Ayala, Alan Stroik and Michael Lara. Los Angeles Leather Pride 2020 will cover a two-weekend period next March with numerous events including the Mr. Los Angeles Leather Contest. Ms Los Angeles Leather and Los Angeles Bootblack are operated by a separate organization and will be held June 20.

Central Canada Olympus Leather has new producer

International Ms Olympus Leather 2011 Sir Kira is effective immediately the Executive Producer of Central Canada Olympus Leather. Sir Kira has agreed to take the reigns from John Eisen who has dutifully kept the region afloat after the previous producer stepped aside for personal reasons. Mates Leather Weekend XXIII

Plans are underway for the 23rd Annual Mates Leather Weekend to be held in Provincetown, MA October 3-7. 500-600 people are expected to attend this four-day celebration of and for the Leather/Fetish community. Events include Boot Camp, Opening Reception, Uniforms and Cigars, Leather Market, First Mate Contest, Rubber Ball and the Infamous Fetish Party. Northeast Community Bootblack 2011 Jay Falcon will be on hand. MLW’s resident Buzz-cut barbers Danny Pantaleo and Billie Jean Beetam of SNIP Salon will be trimming at the Leather Market. Mates Leather Weekend has raised over $65,000 to date for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod through event pass sales, raffle, and other donations. In addition, MLW holds a coat/clothes drive each year with donations going to Ruthie’s Boutique, a local non-profit thrift store. Miss Cassie Rope Bondage Classes
