The 15 Association - 38th Anniversary

The 15 Association of San Francisco, CA held its 38th Anniversary the weekend of February 23-25. The main event was an Anniversary Dinner at Patio Español on Friday night where about 150 Leatherfolk from all over the US and even from as far as the United Kingdom attended. What club president Eric See says was the largest silent auction of Leather/BDSM/Fetish gear and toys brought in big bucks. Several awards were presented. The big two Jordy Tackitt-Jones being named an honorary member of Dave Rhodes Hump Day February 28, 2018 and The 15 Association's club colors to Michael Leon who is the co-owner of the SF Eagle. First Woman of Drummer

Women of Drummer would like to thank both contestants for bringing their fierce, sexy, badassness to Vegas and sharing themselves with all in attendance. Our runner up is Joy Carty from Des Moines, Iowa, and the first Woman of Drummer 2018, is Domina Voss, from Tampa, Florida. Women of Drummer would like to extend very special thanks to all our judges, regional leaders, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters that worked so hard to make this weekend a success. The weekend abounded with sexual energy, hot play, fun, laughter and a shared sense of purpose. We can’t wait to do it all again next year at Ramblewood Campground in Darlington, MD on September 27-29, 2019.

"For those of you that have not yet heard, we lost Thor Stephens yesterday, February 21, 2018. The cause of his death is not yet known, but if there is any solace to be taken, it is that he at least appears to have gone peacefully, sleeping in his bed.... I love him greatly and am finding myself lost at every turn without him. I want to thank our friends and especially our staff for the outpouring of sympathy and the rush to help keep things afloat here at the bar in his sudden and unexpected absence. I literally could not have done this without you." A memorial celebration of his life was held at Precinct in downtown Los Angeles, CA on Saturday afternoon February 24. Once we have a better idea of when he can be finally laid to rest, an official memorial celebration of this giant, vibrant soul will be offered.

46th Annual Golden Dildeaux Awards

The Golden Gate Guards present The Golden Dildeaux Awards Saturday April 14 at 7 PM at SF Eagle, 398 12th Street in San Francisco, CA. These awards are intended to poke fun at various sexual activities while at the same time provide fundraising for the Positive Resource Center. Leather Heart Foundation launches General Assistance Applications
Over the last year the Leather Heart Foundation (LHF) has gone through structural changes and reorganization internally to bring all of the fetish communities LHF serves a strong foundation for those facing financial hardships. LHF is the only non-profit group of its kind - by the community, for the community. Recently, LHF opened applications to the Disaster Relief Fund for individuals affected by the devastating wildfires and hurricanes. Dear Leather Family and Friends, it is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of a dear friend, a brother and a gentle soul. This past Thursday, boy Bruce Byers, Florida Leatherboy 2016 passed at 10:27pm. He passed peacefully and in the arms of some one who loved him dearly. He leaves behind a legacy of caring, love, commitment to this amazing community and a zest for life that touched so many of us. I miss him.
