Adikus Sulpizi honored in New Orleans

"I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for being so supportive of my life here in New Orleans. Naming me Leatherman of the Year is such an honor and I am so happy and thankful. I look forward to always being part of this amazing community." were Adikus Sulpizi's words after receiving the GAA Leather Person of the Year Award at OZ on July 20 in New Orleans, LA. This was the 30th year of the Gay Appreciation Awards being presented by AMBUSH Magazine. The proceeds from this years event will be given to Stonewall Sports and Southern Decadence.

 

 

Kink Weekend - Route 66 Leather

Route 66 Puppy pup Kyro, Mr. Route 66 Leather Sir Patrick and Route 66 Bootblack Colt earned their titles the weekend of July 20-22 in Oklahoma City, OK and was produced by Kink Weekend. This competition is open to individuals from all 50 states and is a feeder to compete on the International Level. CLAW distributed $75,000 to community charities

CLAW distributed $75,000 to community charities this month, the second highest amount for a single year. 23 charities were awarded money, with the largest shares going to the Leather Archives 7 Museum at $20,000, Leather Heart Foundation at $8,500, LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland at $8,000, and Rainbow Railroad at $8,000. Michael Horowitz passes - July 26, 2018

Michael Horowitz of New York, NY passed on Thursday morning, July 26, 2018. Horowitz was loved by so many for his generosity while expecting nothing in return. Michael was an officer of GMS/MA (Gay Male S/M Activists) a national club based in New York, serving as chairman, president and many times as treasurer. He was an Associate Member of the Chicago Hellfire Club. He received the Pantheon of Leather Northeast Regional Award in 1997. Social media was immediately active with comments of love from so many he touched.
