CB Kirby Becomes Mr. Fire Island Leather 2018

On May 19, at the Ice Palace, during Excelsior Motorcycle Club’s Lust for Life: Erector weekend, a panel of seven judges including Bruce-Michael Gelbert, Diego Vargas, Mark Nayden, Candido Soares, Sir Joseph, Champagne Bubbles and David Samuel Menkes selected CB Kirby as Mr. Fire Island Leather 2018. Runner-up was “Determinator,” AKA Volker, from Berlin, the only other contestant. CB Kirby, Excelsior MC member and Mr. Eagle NYC Leather 2011 declared about Leather, “It's more than what you wear. It’s what you are, in your heart and soul." The previous night's Excelsior event, at the Palace, was the annual benefit, tongue-in-cheek Master-and-slave auction, hosted by Porsche and Mark.

Chuck Renslow: A Legacy of Leather exhibit at IML

Photo - The LA&M recently hosted a visit from the Science of BDSM Research Team, led by professor of social psychology Dr. Brad Sagarin.
