Folsom Street Fair Week events in San Francisco
Folsom Street Fair
The world's largest single Leather event will be on Sunday, September 30, the Folsom Street Fair which will turn Folsom Street from Sixth to 12th Streets into one big Leather sardine can. Everything imaginable will be seen there and much of it done there. The area in front of the Powerhouse and the Steamworks Twister game will be packed. We have a calendar of events below.

Mama's Family
There will be a Mama's Family photo shoot adjacent the Powerhouse on Dore Alley at 1:30 PM to set up and 1:45 for the photo by the Bay Area's Leather community photographer, Rich Stadtmiller - Say sleaze. Please arrive a few minutes early. Plan ahead and make it through the log jam of people at the Powerhouse entrance.

San Francisco Bare Chest Men's Calendar
Perhaps the hottest booth, at least in the horny eyes of gay men, will be the 2019 Bare Chest Men's Calendar booth with next year's Men hawking Calendars from which proceeds of sales goes to the Positive Resources Center.
Fog, wind - and sunscreen
The fog and wind will show up around 5 PM and many who are not from San Francisco or are familiar with The City will be freezing. Remember - hot sun mid-day and cold wind late afternoon. Come prepared. And oh, do not forget sunscreen.
LDG Presents: Reasonable Pup Play
The next SFLDG presentation will be on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:30 PM. This workshop focuses on finding reasonable ways to engage in human pup play and not be an idiot. Programs are every fourth Wednesday, with some exceptions. They vary from interview, to demo, to community panel discussion, and more. Attendance varies from 60-150 people. Occasionally a presenter may ask for audience participation, but its never required.
Magnitude
Saturday night's biggest event will be the Magnitude dance party in the Festival Pavilion at the Fort Mason Center from 9 PM to 4 AM. Magnitude is the Official Saturday Night Dance Party of the Folsom Street Fair with world-class lighting, live stage shows, and superstar international DJs. Join more than 3,000 of the hottest Leathermen from around the globe to celebrate San Francisco’s popular alternative event.

Deviants

Recon
Recon heads back to San Francisco to celebrate the Folsom Street Fair and takes over DNA Lounge on Friday, September 28 to host the hottest Fetish Gear and Dance Party to kick-start your Folsom weekend. Doors open 9 PM and DJ Gordon John flies in from the UK to spin a set of chunky beats.

Golden Gate Guards - Leather Cruise
The Golden Gate Guards' Eighth Annual Leather Cruise on San Francisco Bay will be on Saturday, September 29 at Pier 40 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, CA. Check in 4:30 PM, departs 5:30 PM. They will travel under the Bay Bridge, pass Angel Island and Treasure Island, Sausalito, Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge to see the bridge and the city of San Francisco at sundown. Full no host bar on-board as well as late afternoon buffet. $75 donation, regular tickets are a $90. A souvenir photo will be taken on the dock or on-board and e-mailed after the cruise. Net proceeds benefit San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance.

The 15 Association - Folsom Play Party
The 15 Association will hold its annual Folsom Play Party at Catalyst, 1060 Folsom Street on Saturday night, September 29 starting at 6 PM with doors closing at 10 PM. This event usually sells out well in advance, with no ticket sales at the door. Find a member and sign up early, or wait until Sunday when you can hear how awesome it was.

DomCon NOLA Parade in the French Quarter

Mistress Simone Justice will be leading a Second Line Parade in the French Quarter as part of DomCon New Orleans, honoring Pro Dommes and Leather family in the BDSM scene who have past away recently. The parade will start Friday, October 5 at 8 PM with a gathering at the Canal Street entrance of the DomCon host hotel, Astor Crowne Plaza. The parade will go through the French Quarter for about a half mile, and return after about 45 minutes to the host hotel for DomCon Friday night play party. A Second Line Parade is a tradition in New Orleans, where mourners follow the lead of the First Line funerary jazz band and dance group.
Wild West Olympus Leather
Wild West Olympus Leather will be the new “Rebooted” BCD October 5-7 in Tucson, AZ. The Wild West Olympus Leather region is comprised of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

Knight Hawks of Virginia
This year, as the Knight Hawks of Virginia celebrate our 25th Anniversary on September 28, we will be hosting one of our biggest and best cruises ever. Not only will we be having it on a Friday Night this year, but we will also be extending the fun and hosting it for 4 hours from 10 PM until 2 AM. The boat still departs from Norfolk Waterside and boarding will begin at 9:30 PM. We will again be having demos, buffet of food, cash bar and DJ Matty will be providing the music this year. Los Angeles Leather Pride 2019 - Theme and Dates
Planning has begun on the 20th Annual Los Angeles Leather Pride which will be held March 24-31. As LALP has expanded over the last 20 years, we have seen our community grow to become more inclusive and diverse. We are building on last year's theme, We Are All LA Leather, with new and exciting ways of bringing Leatherfolk together - an XXPLORATION. This year we will be adding the Ms Los Angeles Leather contest, as well as the revamped LA Bootblack contest, in addition to various Leather meet-ups, play parties, panel discussions, and many other events, culminating in the Off Sunset Festival.

The Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert's Palm Springs Leather Pride: Renegade will be held October 25-28. Just shy of Halloween which is the Wednesday immediately after. Palm Springs Leather Pride Chair/Media Director Randy Carmanaty said, "This past year we had a 30-percent increase in attendees over the year prior with attendees coming from 26 countries and all 50 states."
