IML 2016 Patrick Smith gave the Sunday keynote, and he reminded brunch attendees of the importance of preserving Leather Legacy, providing information to those new to Leather, and the positive power of engaging in diplomatic dialogues with those in political opposition to LGBTQ+ and sex-positive communities’ civil and social rights.
Beyond the diverse group of daytime workshops, the weekend kicked off with a Fireside Chat between Douglas O’Keeffe and longtime Leatherman Sir Shane from Detroit, followed by a reception that honored the life of Chuck Renslow.
