Dr. Larry's 75th Birthday Bash

91 Leatherfolk descended upon the Dr. Lawrence and William Burden household in Rancho Mirage near Palm Springs, CA on Saturday night, March 18 to celebrate Dr. Larry's 75th Birthday. A museum-quality gallery of photos, awards and honorifics, Leather items and memorabilia was organized and presented on walls and tables in their home. The throng was treated to a deli buffet catered by Sherman's Deli of Palm Springs. The night started with a blessing by Sister Glitterati James Quiroga.

Coming down an indoor water slide, viewing a city hall presentation and going to a fetish party after attending church - This all happened November 10-13 in Tromsø Norway, the third largest city in the world north of the Arctic Circle, home to the northernmost Pride and Leather weekend in the world.
Palm Springs Leather Pride - Flash Back Gallery
We take a look back as far as 2000 at Palm Springs Leather Pride which is produced by the Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert. Many on the west coast consider Palm Springs Leather Pride to be the Mid Atlantic Leather of the West. Both events are produced by a club and both events are huge with the center of activities being Leather contests with a who's who of Leather in attendance. Each have food with Leather Cocktails on the Saturday night in the nation's capitol and a huge formal Leather dinner on Friday night in the California desert.
